Star Wars Galactic Heroes Millenium Falcon

If anybody knows where I can get a Star Wars Galactic Heroes Millenium Falcon from I would really appreciate you letting me know.... It's not the huge expensive £150.00 one. It's the smaller RRP £40.00 one which Argos very kindly decided to sell at half price and the great Martin's Money Saving Tips decided to let the whole world know about... Now they're going for upwards of £50.00 plus P&P on ebay. Why or why don't we buy our presents in the Summer and spend the months of November and December with our feet up making pretty decorations to adorn our calm and relaxed homes!!!

I've trawled the internet... I've phoned - The Entertainer, Hamleys, Harrods, Selfridges, John Lewis, Peter Jones, local toy shops, you name it - I've spoken to them.

p.s. it's not for me - I'm very fortunate in having one of these little beauties but only because a few weeks ago my friend very kindly held one on order for me at a shop a few miles away. She now needs one and I'm now in the horrible position of knowing that I have something she really wants and feel I have to find one or do I give her the one I have... But then Little will be upset because that's what he said he wanted when we first started talking about Christmas lists back in the summer right after his birthday. Aaarrrghhhhhhh!!!!!! Please - if you can help...

I feel your dilemma!! Sorry I can't help. We had/have our Star Wars episode in our family (a year ago I could have helped you with a computer chess game, monopoly, etc.) Alas, no Falcon!

Awww, I wish I could help Amanda. My sons used to have every Star Wars toy going, a very lucky gift from their richer cousins who had out grown them! I can feel your pain though as the mom of two girls who both wanted Cabbage Patch dolls the first year they were all the craze and who could only get her hands on one!!

My parents have never forgiven my brother for one entire Christmas holiday spent in queues, trying to acquire Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Good luck.

Thank you for your kind thoughts... The only words that are springing to mind are rude ones so I wont go there. We've managed to get one at over £30. more than it should have been. I must remember next summer to take a punt on things and buy up loads of toys that I think are going to be popular and sell out. Then in the Christmas rush make a stupid amount of money selling them to decent people who believe Christmas starts in December not August. All the while with a conscience feeling like Scrooge for ripping people off... oh dear I think I might be bitter!

p.s. Trig, I feel your parents pain. Without the internet I dread to think what it must have been like.

Hello Claire, it was for my friend and she got it on e-bay for just under £50. They ended up going for £70 and over just before Christmas. I was lucky enough to get the last one in an Argos (at the half price offer). I think within the next few weeks the shops will start to get them back in again. Good luck!

You are in luck, if you haven't found one already. I have the original one, MINT, never opened. It is the one that comes with Han Solo, Chewbacca and C3PO. The one in the square box. I know its going for anywhere between 100-125 on ebay, but honestly, I'm looking to get rid of my collection. I have the ENTIRE Galactic Heroes collection. Every ship, set, scene, 2pack, etc. I want to sell them and start collecting Mighty Muggs. I will sell my Falcon for $75 US Dollars, I can ship it to you if you are in Europe.

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for your comment. My dilemma was that I had one but my friend didn't because she'd held it for me in a shop and then when she went to buy one they'd sold out, but thank you anyway. I'm sure you'll have no problems selling your star wars things.

Amanda
